Our Team
At Inspire Children’s Services we have an appropiately trained, committed and enthusiastic staff team. Our approach is flexible, warm and responsive to the individual needs that young people present.
As indicated our staff team are qualified in accordance with SSSC requirments and National Care Standards. In addition to this our Residential Child Care Officers (RCCO’S) have been trained in the Awards Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN) which equips them with the skills required to promote personal, social and educational development. Our staff team are also trained in developing and implemeting individual Crisis Managment Plans and Functional Assessment for each young person.
We operate a key team system which is made up of a senior RCCO and two residential child care officers. This approach is intended to provide consistency for the young person and encourage relationship building with all members of the key team as opposed to one key worker. Feedback from our young people indicates that this system makes them feel more secure and reassured that there is always someone there for them who understands their situation and is dedicated to implementing their Child’s Plan.
